ICBC leasing

ICBC Leasing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ICBC, has announced that in 2011 it provided equipment leasing services for more than 300 small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) with credit facilities totalling over RMB5bn.

In the past, ICBC Leasing only provided leasing services on limited types of equipment such as textile printing machines, medical instruments and numerically controlled machine tools.

In order to better support SMEs, ICBC said that now other types of equipment with high adaptability, stable market prices and value can also be leased. Meanwhile, ICBC Leasing is also working with large equipment manufacturers, which provide guarantees and facilitate the purchase by SMEs of their equipment (primarily machinery, machine tools and printing machines) through financial leasing.

ICBC Leasing said it also makes maximum use of the ICBC Group's vast outlet network and customer managers nationwide to reach SME customers.
