Aldermore

Neil Kindness has joined UK bank Aldermore’s specialist structured finance team as associate director with responsibility for negotiating deals in London and Scotland.

Kindness joins Simon Maddocks and Peter Raybould in the structured finance team, which is led by Ian Flaxman. Their objective is to develop flexible and bespoke structured finance solutions for mid-sized businesses throughout the UK, typically firms with borrowing requirements between £2m and £12.5m.

Previously, Kindness was at Close Invoice Finance where, as a regional sales director, he was responsible for establishing a presence for the company in Scotland. Prior to that he was a director of Landsbanki Commercial Finance, a director of GE Commercial Finance and a regional director of GMAC Commercial Finance.

Kindness said: “Aldermore’s structured finance team is a very exciting concept; mid-sized firms have been crying out for a bank that will consider their business as a total proposition, rather than focusing on just one element of their financial needs. I’m delighted to have joined this dynamic young team and look forward to working with businesses both in London and Scotland.”

Ian Flaxman said: “Neil has considerable experience to draw on and I have no doubt he will make a big impact both north and south of the border.”
