The Enterprise Holdings Foundation, the charitable arm of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, has matched the fundraising efforts of fleet management specialist CLM, in support of the Leukaemia Care charity.
The match-funding follows efforts by staff at Newport Pagnell,UK-based CLM, along with colleagues from parent company Maxxia, to raise money with a variety of fund-raising activities.
The efforts were especially poignant as a manager had recently been diagnosed with the disease and rushed into hospital for treatment.
After the event, CLM approached Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s philanthropic arm for additional funding and recently a cheque for £1,000 was issued.
CLM Managing Director, John Kelly said: “This has been particularly poignant for us as one of our own has been stricken down with the disease and we wish her the very speediest of recoveries.”
