Ref: J2138 - Our client is seeking a Junior Sales Executive, Direct - UK, SE Eng / Essex to develop new business sales as a self-starter, able to spearhead growth of the business through direct sales. You will research, identify and target hard asset opportunities and be targeted to achieve sales objectives on volume, yield and income. This is a typical 'hunter' role and ideally you should have your own customer base.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Research, identify and target hard asset finance opportunities to maximise new business
Take a proactive role in identifying and approaching customers and dealers to promote the financing products and services.
Undertake a proactive approach and ensure all leads identified are pursued.
Discuss and negotiate proposals with potential customers and dealers.
Negotiate the terms of a proposal, submit for approval and prepare documentation.
Build and monitor client relationships. 
Support Senior Sales staff in developing, growing and retaining their customer portfolio ensuring a quality service is provided at all times. 
Prepare documentation for processing and payout.
Respond to management initiatives on targeting particular sectors/niches.
Effectively manage and report on pipeline business, demonstrated through accurate forecasting.
Actively contribute to the sales team ensuring market and competitor information is shared and acted on where appropriate.
Build relationships with clients and to manage those relationships effectively.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience in a client facing role – minimum 3 years 
A self Starter who pro-actively seeks out new business opportunities with target prospects and effectively converts them into customers.
Asset Finance or Private banking experience desirable.
Multi-tasking capability with ability to work under pressure. 
Proven success in building relationships with people at all level.
IT literate and a good understanding of Microsoft office. 

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
