Ref: J2147 - Our client is seeking an Internal Sales Manager to originate and develop new business with existing assigned Brokers by maintaining and strengthening the business relationship.
Generate and maintain new business leads by identifying new suitable Broker relationships. Ensuring brokers trading agreements are signed appropriately. Ensuring brokers regulatory compliance.ie complaints, AML, data protection, treating customers fairly. Build individual relationships with the business owner as well as the Broker's sales force to maximise success. Perform an adequate number of calls per week to maintain a strong relationship with Brokers. Manage daily pipeline of proposals and achieve an adequate acceptance to completion ratio for Brokers of responsibility. Master client own App for quoting and proposals and achieve 100% usage by Brokers of responsibility. Understand rate & commission structures & providing relevant broker training where necessary. Understand End of Term process. Prepare papers for credit committee with an understanding of any accounting information. Understand soft and hard asset (vehicles) financing and its implication in terms of documentation required from Brokers to maximise successful credit underwriting, and end of term process. Appreciate the quality of suppliers and their invoicing by way of deposits & VAT. Understand core transaction principals on our documentation versus periphery details.
Knowledge of Asset Finance and the broker industry. Knowledge of FCA and PRA regulation. To be able to converse confidently with peers within the industry, both verbally and via written communication. Understanding of the credit process and ability to prepare credit papers. Competent level of computer skills, eg excel and sales systems.
We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
