Ref: J2154 - Our client is seeking a Leasing Account Manager, Education sector - UK, Gtr London / SE Eng to profitably develop and grow the IT leasing and program income from existing customers in the education sector whilst supporting key vendor programs. To meet the sales targets set and to maximise the return derived from each channel. The role will be ideal for an individual that is able to work full time, but during school term time only.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

To account manage 170 education customers currently on lease.
To introduce and launch new parental contribution programme to schools currently not running it.
To manage 20 customers currently running parental contribution programme from agreeing which equipment is launch through to set up of the marketing, portal to delivery of equipment.
Attend external customer/vendor face to face meetings when required.
Create & utilize business plans to drive strategy.
Assistance in the production of quotations and program proposals.
To proactively manage by telephone named vendors and clients within an agree contact strategy to review performance via management information, establish and resolve issues and put in place improvement plans.
Proactively target new clients to drive additional income.
To work closely with assigned Operations co-ordinator(s) assisting with issues where appropriate and taking responsibility for the training and development of that individual(s) as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

The role will be ideal for an individual that is able to work full time, but during school term time only.
Leasing experience essential.
A confident, ambitious & stand out character with the ability to build relationships over the phone or in person.
Strong understanding & track record of sales aid finance including finance products, pricing & documentation.
Expertise of at least one asset sector preferable. 
An organized self-starter encompassing a sales mentality with conviction to proactively canvass for incremental business
Ability to analyze financial information at a basic level and to be able to use data to support a credit application or conduct basic questioning.
Must have the ability to predict and plan for future business requirements. 
Must demonstrate empathy and an ability to work within a team environment.
Must hold a full clean driving license.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
