Ref: J2156 - Our client is seeking a Collections and Customer Services Advisor - UK, SE Eng / Thames Valley to work within the customer services team, but includes taking the lead on early collections activity; ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of lease portfolio arrears. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Handling all Customer Service related enquiries from both Customers and Introducers received via telephone, email and post.
Processing of Customer Service tasks including change of address, copy invoice requests, complaint management, change of bank details, early settlement requests, Novation process.
Managing the Direct Debit processing system including submission of new instructions, processing the daily DD files, managing any returned instructions.
Managing all arrears cases to resolve in a prompt manner, escalating any problem payers to the Operations Manager as a matter of urgency.
Management of any asset repossession instructions, liaising with external Collection Agencies.
Management of Account Reconciliations.
Entering payments instructions into our internal systems for authorisation.
Manage the receipt and storage of original documentation. 
Preparing and sending Annual Tax Invoices. 
Preparing Welcome Packs.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Have work experience in a corporate environment (ideally in a financial products role) dealing with Collections and Customer Services.
A sound understanding of leasing products, documentation, banking and settlement procedures is desirable.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Have an excellent phone manner.
Be conscientious and have strong attention to detail.
Possess strong numerical skills and be proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
Be a team player with the ability to work unsupervised and independently. 
Be self motivated and performance focused.
Possess an ability to adapt to change.
Possess a strong ‘can do’ attitude and be willing to learn additional tasks outside of their remit.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
