Ref: J2142 - Our client is seeking a New Business Development Manager - UK, Mid / N Eng to identify and develop sales opportunities within the IT market through direct sales activity and on-boarding new vendor relationships. You will have experience in this sector as well as a proven track record of creating and delivering successful financing value propositions. This role is home based and will cover the North of the UK.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for pro-actively developing new business to ensure that sales opportunities are created and successfully closed within the focused markets/ asset types.
Work to identify new markets and assets classes to deliver on growth and profitability objectives. 
Deliver a new business strategy across multiple functions for the market to include assets details and financial products. 
Ensure achievement of volume and profitability targets on a monthly / quarterly basis as well as accurate forecasting and well managed diary management in order to effectively manage the pipeline of new business volume.
Ensure all plans for targeted accounts are properly communicated and reviewed.
Review progress against targets and business objectives with Sales Management on a regular basis. 
Gather and share market and competitor information in order to ensure strategic and tactical initiatives are relevant and correctly targeted.
Agree and implement monthly and quarterly call plans (include visit and telephone) for all nominated prospect accounts and manage your own activity and contacts plans within set KPIs. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience within the leasing and asset finance environment, with demonstrable experience of structuring complex financial agreements.
Proven track record within a B2B new business development role is required with experience in the IT sector.
Demonstrable ownership of managing own pipeline portfolio and time management.
Understanding of company financial accounts from an underwriting perspective.
Stakeholder Management capability. 
Experience in creating value propositions for internal and external consideration.
Capability of using IT systems to analyse and extract key performance data. (Microsoft office skills are essential)                  
Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills
