Ref: J2182 - Our client is seeking a FP&A Manager - London - Asset Finance to support the CEOs of their different divisions to develop and achieve their financial objectives. You will support the senior divisional teams on key business performance management processes, pricing and new business structuring, strategy development, financial planning and ad hoc analyses.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manage the preparation of all aspects of financial planning and forecasting for the divisions including long range plans, annual budget setting, periodic forecasts and associated ICAAP based stress testing.
Review and strengthen existing processes and financial models to improve the value of outputs and ensure their robustness.
Input into monthly flash forecasting processes.
Ensure delivery of all submissions to central FP&A teams within deadlines.
Prepare monthly reporting packs and board presentations outlining key financial performance metrics.
Provide timely commentary and variance analysis to support business leaders in understanding their financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
Evaluate the financial implications of proposed business initiatives.
Provide oversight of pricing and Return on Equity requirements for large deal transactions.
Co-ordinate and deliver commission scheme reporting & analysis.
Recruit, train and employ high calibre employees within budget, headcount levels and temporary resource requirements.
Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
Provide oversight and direction to employees in accordance with the firm's policies, procedures, standards and SLAs.
Hold regular one-to-ones with direct reports ensuring that feedback is provided in a constructive way whilst working with the employee to facilitate personal development
Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required and in line with reporting deadlines.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Graduate; commercially strong and analytical.
Qualified Accountant, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
Advanced IT skills – Strong Microsoft Office & Excel skills and competent at working with large volumes of data.
Experience of business partnering or FP&A activities.
Previous knowledge and experience of accounting requirements within the asset finance industry. 
Worked effectively within a large, multi-site and complex business.
