Connaught Finance has opened a new office in Frankfurt, Germany which is to be headed by Michael Vander.

Paul Errington, Connaught Finance’s managing director said: “We are very pleased to have Michael Vander joining our team and heading up the new office which will also cover all EMEA.”

Vander has over 20 years in the asset finance market and brings a wealth of international experience to the company. His career spans positions with De Lage Landen, Heller Financial, Compaq Financial, Deutsche Leasing, CIT/DELL and The Alta Group.

Errington told Asset Finance International that the Frankfurt office will provide the full suite of financial solutions that are offered from the other Connaught Finance offices in New York, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka.

The company’s main focus continues to be structured finance for equipment through vendor relationships and direct to end users – and also project finance and private equity investments.
