Johnnie Halliday has been appointed director of sales, lending & leasing at Linedata in the UK. Halliday is a former director of both Cassiopae UK and CQ Systems (now NetSol Technologies) and is a well-known industry figure with over 30 years’ experience in software sales and leasing, in a variety of companies and commercial management roles.
Linedata explained that it aims to make the “Best in Class lending management solutions in the world market available to UK loan and leasing professionals” as it opens its dedicated Lending & Leasing operations from its existing office in London.
The establishment of Linedata’s Lending & Leasing UK is designed to enable Linedata to better support its clients, by providing additional expertise locally and through greater proximity to the major international players.
Building on its presence in the UK will “help to accelerate Linedata’s penetration of our Northern European markets as part of its global positioning and investment strategy, in an area with a promising future”.
Linedata’s products include Linedata Ekip, Profinance, Capitalsteam, and Uniloan. It employs close to 1,000 employees in 15 offices across the globe.
