DLL has appointed Rod Versteegh as president of its food & agriculture global business unit and Neal Garnett as president of the construction, transportation & industrial global business unit.
Both appointments are effective 1 January 2017.
Tom Meredith, DLL’s recently appointed chief commercial officer said: “Rod and Neal have both played a significant role in the growth of our commercial organization over the last 15 plus years.
“Not only do they have the knowledge and experience required to lead their respective business units, but they also understand the DLL culture and our unyielding commitment to our partners and customers.”
Rod Versteegh (pictured above) will assume the role of president of DLL’s food & agriculture (F&A) global business unit after nearly 16 years with the company.
He most recently served as president of DLL’s construction, transportation & industrial (CT&I) global business unit, where he was instrumental in driving the diversification of the business in multiple industry sectors, and across the more than 35 countries in DLL’s global network.
Versteegh is a financing industry veteran with over 25 years of experience specializing in collections, risk management, operations, sales and general management.
Neal Garnett (pictured below) will replace Versteegh as president of DLL’s construction, transportation & industrial (CT&I) global business unit.
Garnett joined DLL in 1998 and has held several commercial leadership roles in the business unit, including assignments in the US and Europe. He most recently served as senior vice president and general manager of the CT&I business unit’s operations in Europe and Asia, where he was responsible for delivering year-over-year portfolio and profitability growth.
Meredith said: “As we continue to sharpen the focus on our core vendor finance business and target further growth and product innovation, I cannot think of two better leaders to guide these strategically important business lines for DLL.
