This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join a leader in working captital financing. 
The role will suit and individual with solid experience of underwriting unsecured trade credit with an understanding of working with a credit insurer. 

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate new credit applications, review and align established customers credit lines.
• Insurance limit management with credit insurance company.
• Monitor changes in credit limit requirements and expiring limits and prepare credit limit review requests.
• Visit customers’ premises to review financial statements/opportunities as required.
• Communicate recent events and trends impacting performance within the industries underwritten.

Key Skills:

• Degree in Finance/ Economics or equivalent and directly related experience.
• Proven Underwriting knowledge - detailed understanding of financial analysis and other factors influencing trade credit risk.
• Country / Sector Analysis - high level understanding of economic and political factors influencing credit risk.
• Proven analytical, problem solving, and process oriented skills.
• Ability to work and make decisions independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in intense, highly time critical environment.
