Competitive basic plus excellent OTE plus car and benefits package A key opportunity has arisen for a successful Invoice or Commercial Finance sales professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Covering the South West Area (Bristol, Gloucester, Devon, Wiltshire) area, you will work closely with colleagues in the Bank to generate new Invoice Finance business opportunities through existing client relationships, augmented by the generation of new Invoice Finance customers to the bank, focusing on businesses in the £5m to £30m t/o sector.
- Assessing potential customers for their suitability for an invoice finance facility and visiting them with the aim of learning more about the business and to sell them the benefits of the appropriate funding product.
- Preparing and submitting recommendations to Credits Committee and ensuring a smooth take-on of the new client.
Essential Skills:
- The role demands that the Business Development Manager must be able to work within a highly competitive, targeted environment with little supervision.
- You will have a proven track record of B2B finance sales, ideally gained within the invoice finance sector, although those with successful sales experience gained within asset finance or banking will also be considered.
- You will be highly proactive, able to build credibility and confidence, be numerate and have a track record of developing productive relationships.
- The job holder requires a detailed understanding of the services provided by the immediate area and a broad knowledge of other group services as they relate to the needs of bank customers.
