This is an exciting and challenging role within an established Specialist commercial Finance provider in the establishment and growth of an exciting new product to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new clients and revenue for the company and effectively convert lead opportunities.
  • Maximise Business opportunities by using best practice.
  • Ensure profitability through efficient and effective relationship management of a portfolio of clients.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all clients, prospect clients, internal and external customers. 
  • Manage an Assistant Relationship Manager and ensure that security is maintained at all times within the systems operated by the company.
  • Establish and maintain a professional ‘expert’ relationship with introducer’s prospect clients, internal and external customers. Identify their needs and have a proactive approach to building relationships and maintaining them.
  • Monitor team/portfolio performance, decide on appropriate solutions, solves problems with appropriate solutions.

Essential Skills

  • You will ideally have a Banking/Finance background and have gained Account Management experience together with developing new business from both externally and from internally generated leads. 
  • You will have experience of dealing with a range of Banking products and are likely to have managed your own portfolio of clients in the Business Banking or Commercial Banking sector. 
  • Alternatively, if you have a combiation of sales and relationship management experience gained within Invoice Finance / Invoice Discounting, you may also be considered.
  • You will be able 'win & keep' to build up a portfolio of customers and to understand, identify and manage risk within the portfolio. You will have the ability to seek opportunities to create new leads, manage time, prioritises work and plan ahead.
