For our office in Gloucester, we are looking for dynamic candidates interested in the following opportunity:

Collections and Customer Care Manager – Gloucester
£20,000 - £25,000 (dependant upon experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all stages of:
    • the customer care process to deliver high quality customer service to dealers, dealer agents and end user customers.
    • collections process to determine appropriate action and oversees settlement of delinquency files.
  • Minimises losses through effective repossession of assets or recommends loan restructuring where appropriate.
  • Manages all stages of collection process to negotiate payment of over dues, determine appropriate action, and oversees settlement of delinquency files.
  • Determines whether litigated and default accounts are managed internally or assigned to outside counsel or agencies.
  • Prepares management reports.

Skills & experience required:

  • Strong people management skills.
  • Pro-active customer focus.
  • Good negotiating track record.
  • Able to build good working relationships with dealers and customers.
  • High level understanding of collections, preferably within an asset finance / financial services environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to work within Company policies and procedures as well as knowledge of UK legislation for collection activity.
  • Ability to use various department specific computer programs as well as Microsoft Office applications competently.
  • Evidence of similar work experience / background (3-5 years).
