Based in Brussels and established in 1972, Leaseurope, the European Federation of Leasing Company Associations, is looking for an Adviser in Statistics & Economic Affairs.
Job description
The position entails:
-
Preparing meeting documents, agendas, briefings and minutes
-
Collecting market data and information from member associations at regular intervals
-
Analysing and interpreting the collected data to generate value messages
-
Writing insightful analysis of market trends and sentiment (incl. tables and charts)
-
Authoring articles for submission to specialized press
-
Undertaking research and conducting surveys on specific issues
-
Developing support material for use in submission to policy makers and standard setters
-
Presenting findings to Board members as well as at international conferences
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
-
Master degree in economics or related field, with first rate academic record
-
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
-
Excellent computer skills (incl. experience with Excel and PowerPoint)
-
Thorough analytical skills
-
Demonstrated first class drafting and presentation skills
-
Problem-solving attitude
-
Ability to meet strict deadlines
-
Superior attention to details
-
Fluency (native level) in English
-
Prior knowledge of the leasing industry useful but not required
