LeaseuropeBased in Brussels and established in 1972, Leaseurope, the European Federation of Leasing Company Associations, is looking for an Adviser in Statistics & Economic Affairs.

Job description

The position entails:

  • Preparing meeting documents, agendas, briefings and minutes
  • Collecting market data and information from member associations at regular intervals
  • Analysing and interpreting the collected data to generate value messages
  • Writing insightful analysis of market trends and sentiment (incl. tables and charts)
  • Authoring articles for submission to specialized press
  • Undertaking research and conducting surveys on specific issues
  • Developing support material for use in submission to policy makers and standard setters
  • Presenting findings to Board members as well as at international conferences

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Master degree in economics or related field, with first rate academic record
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent computer skills (incl. experience with Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Thorough analytical skills
  • Demonstrated first class drafting and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Superior attention to details
  • Fluency (native level) in English
  • Prior knowledge of the leasing industry useful but not required
