Based in Brussels and established in 1972, Leaseurope, the European Federation of Leasing Company Associations, is looking for a Membership & Knowledge Management Adviser to join its Brussels-based Secretariat. Leaseurope is the voice of the leasing and automotive rental industries in Europe and is composed of 45 Member Associations in 32 countries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and implements strategic plan for membership development
- Develops member service processes and monitors compliance and member satisfaction (CRM)
- Develops and implements processes to collect, disseminate and leverage intelligence generated from inbound and outbound member communication (membernet, on-line surveys, library, etc.)
- Improves communication through increased use of web applications (web 2.0, webinars, etc.)
- Promotes the ‘European House of Leasing’ and associated meeting facilities towards 3rd parties
- Serves as Leaseurope’s technology specialist
- Writes marketing and promotional material
- Aids in writing effective communications to policy makers
- Identifies potential business opportunities and partners through screening of specialized press
- Ensures that Leaseurope becomes the main catalyst for EU-wide leasing related research and develops partnerships with universities
- Assists in the organization of the Federation’s events
- Ensures optimum performance of database system and supervises database administrator
- Raises the profile of the Federation and increases its visibility
- Contributes to a wide range of Leaseurope events and activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree with first rate academic record
- Relevant work experience, preferably in a trade association
- Fluency in English (mother tongue or equivalent essential)
- Very strong IT affinity (incl. interest in web-based communication)
- Thorough analytical skills
- Demonstrated first class drafting and communication skills
- Problem-solving and ‘can do’ attitude
- Creativity
- Superior attention to details
