Membership & Knowledge Management Adviser - BRUSSELS

leaseuropeBased in Brussels and established in 1972, Leaseurope, the European Federation of Leasing Company Associations, is looking for a Membership & Knowledge Management Adviser to join its Brussels-based Secretariat. Leaseurope is the voice of the leasing and automotive rental industries in Europe and is composed of 45 Member Associations in 32 countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements strategic plan for membership development
  • Develops member service processes and monitors compliance and member satisfaction (CRM)
  • Develops and implements processes to collect, disseminate and leverage intelligence generated from inbound and outbound member communication (membernet, on-line surveys, library, etc.)
  • Improves communication through increased use of web applications (web 2.0, webinars, etc.)
  • Promotes the ‘European House of Leasing’ and associated meeting facilities towards 3rd parties
  • Serves as Leaseurope’s technology specialist
  • Writes marketing and promotional material
  • Aids in writing effective communications to policy makers
  • Identifies potential business opportunities and partners through screening of specialized press
  • Ensures that Leaseurope becomes the main catalyst for EU-wide leasing related research and develops partnerships with universities
  • Assists in the organization of the Federation’s events
  • Ensures optimum performance of database system and supervises database administrator
  • Raises the profile of the Federation and increases its visibility
  • Contributes to a wide range of Leaseurope events and activities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree with first rate academic record
  • Relevant work experience, preferably in a trade association
  • Fluency in English (mother tongue or equivalent essential)
  • Very strong IT affinity (incl. interest in web-based communication)
  • Thorough analytical skills
  • Demonstrated first class drafting and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Creativity
  • Superior attention to details
