Can you help? I am seeking a paid research post in the financial services sector.

After gaining 350 UCAS points I went to the University Of Glasgow to study for an MSci in Mathematics.  At the end of year two I opted to specialise in Statistics and am currently on track to achieve a first.

I am looking to do post graduate research, leading to a PhD in the field of how statistical modelling and principles can be used in the commercial arena.  

Those areas where Statistics can provide a business with the accurate information that will enable it to make good decisions are wide, however the main business activities where I could undertake novel and worthwhile research include, decision making, default prediction, product pricing, arbitrage trades, market trend analysis and predicting market movements. Also mergers and acquisitions, risk control of complicated financial positions and CRM.

Whilst at Glasgow I have undertaken a number of projects that have resulted in me developing strong data ma-nipulation, analysis, project management, reporting and presentation skills.
