Our client is a highly respected independent bank which specialises in providing funding for their customers in respect of commercial, residential property and asset finance.  They currently have a vacancy for an experienced banking administrator to join them. This is an outstanding career opportunity for a bright and career minded person who has at least 18 months prior relevant experience from within the Financial Services Industry.

Key Skills:

  • You will need to be of graduate calibre, highly numerate and have good attention to detail.
  • You will also need to possess good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Prior working knowledge of Bankmaster would also be useful but is not essential.
  • The successful candidate will be a self motivated and well rounded individual who has the desire and capability to work well within their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with administration of the deposit base of the Bank, dealing with enquiries and the requirements of customers in respect of personal, fixed, variable and fixed term notice products.
  • You will also assist the manager with implementation of deposit raising campaigns and in the development and marketing of new deposit products. 
  • Together with other team members, you will coordinate the treasury requirements of the Bank, including dealing with enquiries from customers, accurate recording of transactions on the database, providing management information and preparing daily cash transfers.
