Our client a leading IT financier seeks an additional Major Account Manager to be a part of a pan European team operating with customers who typically have an IT network of at least 2000 users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Your role will be to work effectively with our clients partner sales force both their direct sales force and as appropriate their major partners, potentially across a number of different vertical gaining mindshare and early engagement in the sales cycle to grow finance volumes and finance penetration levels.
• Your objectives will be to deliver £20m+ a year of new business from a huge addressable marketplace and to do this preferably with the need to resort to blind discounts to achieve your numbers.

Key Skills:

• Ideally you will be based in the South of the UK and you must have at least 5 years of IT finance experience at major account level dealing at senior management level CFO, CIO,  CEO and across other functions of purchasing, tax, treasury etc.
• You must be a genuine new business hunter able to articulate the many benefits of acquisition of ICT on finance rather than cash & critically be able to effectively close business opportunities as they arrive.
• You will be confident, persuasive, articulate, and eloquent.
• You will be action orientated and have a strong customer focus and be driven by success.
• You must also possess well developed financial awareness, this includes deal structuring, pricing, credit, revenue recognition and treatment of financial obligations etc.
• Strong IT skills are of course required as is a broad awareness and outlook on the sector in general.
