£ 40,000 - 45,000 Our client a leading commercial vehicle financier requires a UK Sales Manager Contract Hire to drive the further development of its contract hire business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Your will work closely with a national dealer network at sales, sales leader & dealer principal level encouraging pro-active and early use of our clients range of innovative products & solutions.
- You will engage closely with supply side sales colleagues & business unit managers and be responsible for undertaking joint sales calls to negotiate, document and close transactions including completing all documentation both for underwriting and deal processing.
- You will also develop & implement an effective training strategy for dealer sales staff.
- You will be expected to prepare monthly reports on your sales activities and to qworking in conjunction with the Directors build and implement an effective contract hire sales strategy to meet volume & profitability targets.
Key Skills:
- You must have a strong background of consistent over target achievement in the sale of contract hire products in the commercial vehicle finance sector.
- You must have a genuine depth of contract hire knowledge. Our client specifically seeks this experience in preference to that of general asset finance and HP or finance lease or loan experience.
- You will have strong sales & negotiation skills and must thrive on winning new customers, you will have well developed influencing skills and the skills to rapidly gain & mind share and generate commitment from a wide variety of stakeholders.
- You will be a tenacious and be an adept multi tasker who is able to work consistently accurately to a defined sales process & also to tight deadlines.
- You will also possess strong presentation & communication skills both written & verbal and also have well developed IT skills.
Finally, whilst this is a national role you are likely to spend two days a week working from our clients UK head quarters in the south of the UK so ideally you will be based in Midlands or South East / Thames Valley.
However those with particularly strong contract hire experience who are willing both to travel and be away overnight once / possibly twice a week are still invited to apply.
Package
Base salary to £45,000, performance bonus potential to a further 40% of base salary will provide realistic earning potential to c£65,000. All usual large company benefits are provided including a choice of a quality company vehicle, 25 days annual leave , rising with service and a contributory pension plan.
