Our client a leading bank owned asset financier seeks an additional Manchester based Relationship Director to be a part of team selling a broad range of asset finance products to mid and large corporate customers both existing bank asset finance customers and to a lesser extent new name customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Your focus will be on working with customers with a turnover of over £25M per annum. Typically in a role such as this you will carry a personal target of between £20M-£35M dependent upon what you inherit.
• Typically most transactions will be in the range of £500,000 to £5M but transactions sizes to > £10M and credit lines to in excess of this are not that unusual.
• You role will involve working closely the bank relationship managers and directors who are your primary route to the customer.

Key Skills:

• You will be Manchester area based and must have at least 5 years and preferably closer to 10 years of asset finance experience.
• Clear preference is to hire someone who either currently or in the recent past has worked for a bank asset finance subsidiary.
• You must have strong credit analysis skills, coupled with a developed knowledge of structuring & pricing and will have adept negotiation skills and the ability to command the respect and support of your bank colleagues to encourage early and regular access to customers.
• Our client are seeking an experienced safe pair of hands for this senior role in preference to an out and out new name business developer / hunter.

Package

Salary level to £50,000 ( reflecting the strong element of account management ) all usual large company benefits including a company car or car allowance are provided as is a highly competitive pension scheme. A performance related bonus scheme is also provided that is likely to reward an on target performance at 20-30% of base salary.
