Base salary range is to c£30,000 with a performance related bonus and all usual large company benefits
Our client a leading financier of IT & telecoms products seek to hire an office Business Development Executive. The Division handles a variety of business from a number of diverse Introductory Sources. Business is of a transactional or flow nature and can be complex. Documentation and pricing is often bespoke. The value and nature of these agreements require excellent technical skills, product knowledge and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Business Development Executive is accountable for managing day to day relationships with our introductory sources at a transactional level whilst developing enduring business relationships across the organisation.
- They should strive to ensure that our client achieves its profitability and strategic ambitions.
- To build strong relationships with our Introductory Sources at all levels.
- To maximise profitability by proactively contacting new or inactive resellers for new business.
- To track pipeline business and chase to conversion.
- To develop strong relationships with Introductory Sources through outbound contact and occasional off-site visits.
- Achieve designated targets as set down by the Company.
- Handle all queries professionally and efficiently and within given time frames.
- Participate in meetings with colleagues, Introductory Sources and other third parties as and when required and to execute on agreed actions promptly.
- To execute on agreed Sales and Marketing programmes, initiatives and outbound campaigns thus maximising business benefits.
- To ensure that related issues ( termination figures, bespoke pricing, contract completion etc) are handled accurately as per published authorities and deadlines.
- To develop technical skills and knowledge in line with the growth and needs of the business.
- Maintain awareness of ever changing market conditions.

- Excellent organisational & time management skills.
- Numerate.
- Ability to maintain the highest standards whilst under pressure.
- Enthusiastic, tenacious & proactive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience of a pressurised IT sales environment preferred.
You must be sensibly and sustainably commutable to our clients Thames Valley offices.
