Salary to £50,000 with on target bonus of a further £25,000
We are looking for someone to work with existing IT customers resulting from our clients strategic partnership with their business partner, to maximise business volume whilst ensuring that the customer’s expectations and requirements are met. An important aspect of the role will be to establish a good relationship with the all nominated customers ( lessees ) and manage the smooth flow of business, whilst also interacting on a daily basis with both our clients business partner & our clients local back office.
A key element of this role will be to ensure that our clients asset management system and overall service is being delivered correctly, is being used and is specified appropriately for each customer.
The role will be targeted on the achievement of annual objectives agreed with our clients business partner (an annual volume of financed business which we will disclose to suitable applicants) and is an essential part of further developing and growing their important business partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- To have regular contact and dialogue with customers and ensure customers’ expectations are met.
- To ascertain customer’s future IT spending plans and ensure that sufficient credit limits are in place to support their planned spend.
- To increase the volume of our clients business with each customer and to identify and sell additional services where appropriate.
- To liaise on a regular basis with our clients partner regarding the existing customers to ensure that necessary credit limits, conditions of sanction and pricing are all in place and are being met.
- To prepare new sales proposals and lease documentation where appropriate.
- To manage the exchange of information required between our client and their business partner to ensure business flows smoothly and efficiently.
- To provide training and support on the use of our clients asset management system to customers.
- To respond to adhoc sales support and system questions and queries from our existing customers.
- To interface with the business partners suppliers as appropriate to ensure all leases are set up and paid out in a timely fashion.
- For own area of work, take responsibility for service standards to all customers, introducers and suppliers and to respond to their complaints in a quick and efficient manner.
- To provide full support to both sales and administration colleagues on an as necessary basis to assist with daily work flow.
- To advise on, and implement where necessary, new processes and procedures that enhance the current sales operations of the business.
- To undertake any other duties as specified from time to time in accordance with business requirements.
Key Skills:
- Experience of working in a role involving external customer sales and service would be an advantage.
- Experience of working in an IT financial services environment would be an advantage.
- A proven record in successful Account Management.
- A self motivated individual with the ability to work remotely from home.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written (in English).
- A clear understanding of the importance of always projecting a positive, professional and friendly impression and an appreciation of the need to place a strong emphasis on giving good service at all times.
- The ability to manage a varied workload.
- The ability to work at a quick pace, accurately and effectively whilst working to tight deadlines in what will often be a pressurised environment.
- To be able to prioritise duties in such a manner that both internal and external expectations are achieved.
- Must adopt a pro-active style of work, taking responsibility for all issues/tasks within remit and capability, without automatic referral to line management.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be committed to and demonstrate Company values particularly relating to levels of integrity, professional approach and teamwork.
- IT literate in word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of the IT market trends and terminology.
Salary
Salary to £50,000 with on target bonus of a further £25,000. Commission is monthly paid and high achievers have the potential to earn up to 300% of the variable element providing the potential to earn to £125,000.
