Base salary to cCHF110,000 will provide on target earning of cCHF180,000 on a 60/40 mix of base to variable.
Our client seeks an additional Account Manager to be a part of an IT finance sales team responsible for Switzerland.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Establish relationships with and sell the benefits of tailored financing programmes to Commercial & Enterprise named account managers to identify key sales opportunities.
- Interface and build relationships with the key end-user customers supported by our clients Commercial & Enterprise account managers, sales specialists and channel partners as appropriate to sell the benefits of the financing offerings.
- Close sales opportunities with end-user customers in partnership with the sales teams by structuring custom financial offerings to meet unique end-user requirements.
- Participate in sales meetings and educate accounts managers & partners to the features and benefits of the rental programme.
- Prepare and give end-user presentations along with proposals and marketing material for specific offerings.
- Maintain and monitor agreed service level commitments to the sales and reseller sales personnel.
- Provide timely reports on problems/opportunities and provide forecasting on new business opportunities.
- Negotiate face to face with customers at CXO Level. Be able to articulate and sell the benefits of FMV Leasing and the value proposition in full.
- Manage significant customer relationships directly and in support of colleagues
- Liaise and work with all the various business units at our client
- Responsible for origination, negotiation, execution and closure of Leasing transactions ensuring the required level of profit is achieved. Also responsible for negotiating the credit and commercials aspects of all transactions.
Candidate Profile
You will ideally be based local to Zurich but candidates local to Geneva are welcome to apply. You must be a fluent Swiss German and English speaker, those who also speak French will be even more attractive. You must be a dynamic driven high achiever who has the ability to achieve approximately CHF15M of new business per annum plus the necessary return on equity and end of lease profitability targets. Your will have/be :
- Excellent IT asset finance sales track record (one that can be substantiated).
- An achiever demonstrating strategic selling competencies.
- Major account manager with either channel or captive experience (managing an indirect or direct vendor sales force).
- Experience in deal structuring and customising transaction offerings.
- Experience in selling the benefits of a full service package.
- Minimum 5 years leasing industry experience either with a recognised Bank / Financial Services company. Preference will also be given to candidates who have worked in a ‘captive’ environment.
- Understanding of Accounting guidelines and how they apply to the provision of leasing
- Proactive, dedicated, driven and self motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Strong English written, oral communication and negotiation skills.
- Good team player with the ability to prioritise, good presentations skills, computer literate, ability to listen, understand and problem solve.
- Self-starting, well organised with the ability to work independently.
- Strong credit and documentation knowledge.
- Ability to add value and innovate for our client & their partners.
Base salary to cCHF110,000 will provide on target earning of cCHF180,000 on a 60/40 mix of base to variable. Excellent accelerators apply at over 100% of sales target with the potential to earn to over CHF250,000 at 150% performance , ( base salary dependent ) , and with totally uncapped earning potential. All usual large company benefits apply including a company car.
