Base salary range is to £50,000 dependent upon experience
Our client a leading well establish national asset financier seeks an additional Development Manager to further develop broad asset based business, predominantly wheeled but including all other (non retail or IT) commercial assets eg, machine tools, construction, manufacturing etc across a territory encompassing London North and West and South to the coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be selling HP and Finance Lease solutions to the SME and SMB marketplace.
- Average transaction size is £25,000 but our clients has financed assets to £3m+.
- You will be targeted to achieve £500,000 a month of new business and must be able to sell to customers at 12% nominal, our client being an asset rather than simply a balance sheet lender.
- Your role will include developing some existing accounts but has a strong emphasis on new business development, the role is probably 70%+ new business.
Key Skills:
- You will be home based & live on the sales area and must be an experienced asset finance new business developer with a provable record of achievement in the SME & SMB space closing 10+ deals a month to achieve target rather than 1 a month.
- Our client seeks someone with a genuine record of door knocking & of winning self generated new business in preference to someone who has been working for a bank asset finance subsidiary and is more used to reactively handling introduced leads.
- You must be a self managing, self starter, with drive and ambition & will need to possess strong business development skills and also good planning & time management skills.
- You must also have the ability to thrive in a small company environment.
Package
Base salary range is to £50,000 dependent upon experience and uncapped quarterly paid commission plan exists providing excellent additional earnings opportunities for high achievers. All usual large company benefits are provided including a market competitive car allowance & a generous pension & holidays.
