Base salary range to low £70’s OTE £100,000 + all benefits

Our client a tier one bank owned asset financier requires a Relationship Director to be a member of a vertically aligned sales team focused on working with its parent bank customers at FTSE250 level and above and also with UK subsidiaries of overseas customers.

This role is one that focuses on financing assets in the ICT sector working with the banks customers but also targeting large IT vendors for receivables business.

You will work closely with the banks Relationship Directors researching and targeting prospects to build long term relationships that maximize the banks share of available business.

Typically the position will be 70% customer sales & service focused, 20% risk assessment & control and 10% sharing knowledge gained across other internal teams.

This is a new role in the team in an asset class area that has not previously been focused but with a very large untapped customer base so would appeal to someone who wants to build a business.

Key Skills:

• Detailed knowledge & transaction experience of the IT/ Technology vendor markets, and IT leasing generally.
• Detailed knowledge of the Asset Finance market sector (products, competitive environment, legislation & accounting practices) in particular relating to IT/ Technology.
• Knowledge & experience of receivables funding & managed services contracts.
• Good working knowledge of the Bank’s products and services, and general financial knowledge of the corporate & international sector customer drivers.
• Demonstrate competence and confidence in dealing with high level contacts within client organisations, and senior level internal relationships.
• Personal drive & motivation, planning & organisation, commerciality, client focus, integrity, relationship/ partnership approach.
• New business development, networking, negotiation, IT skills, credit skills.

This is a national role but better suited to someone who is located in the London or South East area and who is willing travel regularly to the banks head office in central London.

Package

Base salary range to low £70’s with an attractive bonus plan giving the potential to earn to a 50% of base salary. All usual bank based benefits apply including dependent on location London Weighting, company car or car allowance, life & health cover and a very generous pension scheme.
