Base salary range to £55,000 OTE to > £90,000

Our client a leading international IT financier seeks an additional Account Manager to augment its existing UK & Ireland sales team. Your role will be to work with c15 + account managers of an IT manufacturer who sell IT products & services into the public sector ( Local & Government, NHS, Education etc ) plus enterprise customers in the private sector.

You will be responsible for growing engagement with these account managers and their management team to achieve volume and finance penetration targets. Two thirds of the focus of your role will be on the public sector and one third on the private sector with transactions typically varying from <£30,000 to over £500,000.

Key Skills:

• Our client seeks to hire someone who can demonstrate a real understanding and success writing middle ticket technology finance business in the public sector particularly, those who have this background but only private sector experience should not apply.
• You must also possess a demonstrable record of success that can be substantiated by your most recent P60’s and also possess drive, ambition and the ability to command the attention and buy in from vendor sales staff to make clear the value you can add to their sales process.
• You will have the relationship & facilitation skills to get early access to sales pipelines and through this be able to engender early & pro-active use of finance as a means to close business more easily, more quickly & more profitably.
• Experience of structuring deals and of closing business directly with senior staff in IT, purchasing, finance, tax & treasury at customers is a pre requisite.

Due to the wide geography of where the account managers this role engages with are located which will range from Manchester to the Northern Home counties the ideal location for this position are candidates based either in the Midlands or Northern Home counties.

Package

Base salary range is flexible to attract the right candidate, possibly to as high as £55,000 , at that level on target earnings would be in excess of £90,000. All usual large company benefits are provided including a company car or car allowance, life cover, health cover & pension.
