Pricing Manager - EMEA – Dublin , Eire – Salary at least to €75,000 but negotiable with 25% of base salary bonus potential - 2032

RobinsonToms smallThe position requires the candidate to manage the lease pricing activities for the EMEA region.  The Pricing Manager will lead a group of Pricing Specialists to provide lease pricing to our clients EMEA sales staff.  This involves understanding the customer’s financing needs and also providing responsive and creative pricing for the Americas.  The position will develop and present materials to the Pricing Committee to approve pricing assumptions and policies, provide pricing support for lease programs and develop ad-hoc pricing and financial analyses. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead & manage a team of Pricing Specialists to provide lease structuring to sales staff for new customer opportunities and existing customers.  This includes providing technical advice on lease pricing, and balancing the work activity within the group. 
  • Manage the Pricing Committee process by planning the agendas, developing the analyses, and presenting the materials at the meetings for approval.
  • Interface with the Finance, Global Pricing, Business Development, Customer Delivery, and Portfolio Management groups to work through issues and recommend process improvements. 
  • Develop the pricing on complex special bids.
  • Provide pricing training to new and existing sales staff.
  • Analyze win / loss data to recommend possible pricing action.
  • Develop portfolio trend analyses of: return on equity, yields and spreads in comparison to the Business Plan.
  • Provide input into the development of pricing methodologies and global pricing tools.
  • Deploy the pricing methodology and pricing tools in GEO. (Excel Pricing Tool and Supertrump).
  • Ensure all pricing assumptions are up to date (Tax Rates, Depreciation, Cost Loads and Bad Debt Reserves).
  • Provide input and analysis to support competitive review process on an ongoing basis in GEO.
  • Analyze and compare market factors with business plan performance and drive recommendations related to pricing variables and targets in GEO.
  • Manage all policies and procedures related to pricing in the GEO. (Pricing Policy and SOA)
  • Manage and facilitate all aspects of the GEO Pricing Committee including updating policies and pricing tool with all approved changes.
  • Act as SME and coach for pricing specialists in GEO.
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure GEOs are in compliance with pricing policies, methodologies, and schedules of authority.
  • Provide pricing input and GEO Credit Committee and deal review forum.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for GEO initiatives and process/system improvements related to pricing.
  • Coordinate with pricing managers in other business units for large, complex solution pricing.
  • Participate in the development of pricing methodology, competitive positioning and pricing tool training for sales staff in GEO.
  • Influence strategies related to GEO customers and programs.
  • Pricing support for GEO business development.
  • Manage Pricing Governance Model on a quarterly basis.
  • Oversee all mid-term restructures in GEO.
  • Play active role in growing RV Based Business in Region.
  • Facilitate approvals of third party Equipment requests.
  • Implement embedded lease policies in Region (ES/IPGS).
  • Be involved in the provision of upfront pricing that is requested at the beginning of the lease.
  • Provide reporting on ROE, Margin and RV’s.
  • Provide Asset Management Approvals on (Short Term Rentals, Asset Recovery Services and Pre Owned).

Key Accountabilities:

  • Driving pricing recommendations that balance market factors and business plan achievement in the GEO.
  • Ensuring the deployment and ongoing compliance with pricing policies and methodologies.
  • Delivering enhanced pricing capability that addresses business needs in GEO.
  • Providing performance coaching and development plans for pricing specialists in conjunction with Customer Delivery.
  • Conducting regular GEO pricing committee meetings which address all required topics for review and approval.
  • Establish relationships with Pricing Management to ensure successful collaboration when needed.

Key Skills:

  • An in depth understanding of leasing and in particular lease pricing.
  • Finance and / or accounting experience.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Quantitative and problem solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Leadership and business judgment abilities.
  • College degree / or MBA in Finance or Accounting.

You will be commutable to the Dublin area of Eire.

Package

Base salary to at least €75,000 with scope for more to secure the right person. Performance related bonus of a further 25% of base salary. All large company benefits are also provided.
