RobinsonToms smallbase to late £60’s OTE c£115,000 + totally uncapped earning potential

Your role will be one of managing c10 global accounts who typically invest over £100M a year in ICT. Of these 10 accounts typically 1/3 are already active users of finance the remaining 2/3 are either tactical users of finance or non users of our clients solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with and sell the benefits of tailored financing programmes to the Global and Enterprise Account Managers in the Global Accounts space to identify key sales opportunities. These will be Global Accounts hosted within the UK or very Large UK centric businesses.
  • Sales coverage - Builds well targeted business plans and strategies for allocating resources and driving sales activities to achieve margin.
  • C-level partnering - Establishes professional relationships and credibility with key IT and business executives in support of other established relationships with the client.
  • Interface and build relationships with the key end-user customers supported by the account managers, sales specialists as appropriate to sell the benefits of financing offerings.
  • Strategic Planning & Account Leadership - Translates business goals into actionable plans and strategies the requirements and opportunities within the assigned accounts.
  • Execution - Actively manages business plans to meet revenue goals/quotes and advance the business interests the group - determines if an opportunity is profitable for the company.
  • Liaise and work with the various Business Units across the group.
  • Forecast/Budget Control - Tracks and manages rolling forecasts and budgets to ensure timely and accurate roll-ups.
  • Pipeline Management - Builds monitors and orchestrates sales pipelines to ensure continuous population of near- and long-term opportunities.
  • Builds strong internal relationships with other groups to ensure seamless selling of total solutions and to establish clear expectations for resource alignment and support.
  • Solution Selling - Approaches selling from a business solution perspective to ensure products and services accurately address the customers business need.
  • Good understanding of FMV solution selling and Total Cost of Ownership within the IT and IT financing sector.
  • Responsible for negotiating the credit and commercials of all transactions.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 5-7 years leasing industry experience either with a recognised Bank / Financial Services company. Preference will also be given to candidates who have worked in a ‘captive’ environment.
  • Excellent IT asset finance sales track record (one that can be substantiated).
  • An achiever demonstrating strategic selling competencies.
  • Major account manager with either channel / vendor or captive experience.
  • Experience in deal structuring and customising transaction offerings.
  • Experience in selling the benefits of a full service / TCO package.
  • Understanding of Accounting guidelines and how they apply to the provision of leasing.
  • Proactive, dedicated, driven and self motivated.
  • Strong English written, oral communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good presentations skills, computer literate, ability to listen, understand and problem solve.
  • Self-starting, well organised with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong credit and documentation knowledge.
  • Ability to add value and innovate.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal / relationship skills and integrity.
  • Experience in deal structuring and customising transaction offerings.
  • Team player with the ability to prioritise.

Whilst this is a national role our client feels that a Southern based person would be an easier location , however strong candidates from the Midlands or North will be considered.

Package
Base salary range potentially to high £60’s and that level on target earnings will be c£115,000 . Earning potential is totally uncapped and all usual large company benefits are provided included a market competitive car allowance.
