Base salary range to potentially £60,000 + bonus + benefits
Our client seeks a Senior Account Manager to be responsible for the further development of its wholesale funding business in the high technology business area. The focus of the role is largely on IT finance but also medical & green / renewable sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing further a number of existing relationships with leading OEM’s and with national & international IT lessors.
- Achievement of personal & team volume, income & margin targets.
- Leadership & coaching of a small team of account managers.
- Meeting current & future vendor partner requirements as to product , market & customer demand.
- Building strong personal & corporate relationships to maximize volumes of business.
- Negotiate commercially acceptable documentation for our client that also meets the requirements of vendors & their customers working with legal & contracts staff and also with external lawyers as necessary.
- Working closely with risk to manage business, preparing credit proposal forms, support transactions on commercial grounds and make decisions on whether to escalate any rejection. Closely monitor acceptance / decline ratios.
Key Skills:
- You will be someone who recognizes that as this position is one of wholesale funding you will be largely office based and will not be negotiating & closing deals with customers (lessees) directly.
- Knowledge of asset finance essential, ideally but not essentially including high technology assets.
- Strong relationship management skills plus well developed documentation, deal structuring & pricing skills.
- Ability to influence & manage others.
- Experience of industry standard back office leasing software.
- Strong commercial awareness.
You should be located sensibly and sustainably commutable to offices in West London.
Package
Base salary range to potentially £60,000 on target quarterly paid performance bonus to 20% of annual base salary, company car or car allowance + all usual large company benefits will also be provided.
