Base salary to £45,000 + bonus , company car & benefits
Our client a leading financier to HGV’s requires an additional Regional Manager to further develop dealer driven HGV finance business from a numbers of leading HGV dealerships across West Midlands, South Wales & South West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selling finance and lease products to Retail customers.
- Service and manage all aspects of customer and dealer relationships and implements company policies with the dealer organization.
- Establish an effective advisory role with dealer management regarding transaction structuring, contract preparation and new finance program introductions.
- Identify finance product requirements and competitive conditions within each local market.
- Develop individualized market development strategies to maximize profitable dealer and customer penetration and to create incremental product sales for the company.
- Monitor status of transactions within Credit Department to ensure a timely turnaround of credit decisions and communicate such decisions to appropriate dealer and/or customer personnel immediately.
- Review all decisions and explore any alternate financing structures to satisfactorily mitigate transaction and/or credit risks.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Provide reports to Management when necessary.
- Assist in collection activities when required.
Key Skills:
- Ideally a degree in finance, business or a related field.
- Minimum two years of solid commercial equipment financing sales experience required.
- Transportation financing experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiating skills.
- Strong planning and decision-making skills.
- Results oriented.
- Disciplined, with good organization and time management skills.
- Marketing and collection experience strongly desirable.
- Ability to interact effectively with highly challenging dealers.
- Computer literate.
- Service-oriented.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, focused on follow through and closing deals.
Due to size of the sales area our client is seeking to hire someone with both good access to the motorway network and based broadly in the middle of the sales areas , the ideal location would therefore be the Gloucester area but flexibility North to Worcester and South to Bristol would be viable.
Package
Base salary range extends to £45,000 with a performance related bonus. Company car and all normal large company benefits are provided including a final salary pension scheme.
