Our client seeks a Business Manager to report to one of its Directors you will have overall responsibility for the development and management of all leasing business introduced by our clients sales teams and liaison with their panel of funders.  With responsibility for the flow of all lease business, currently circa £30million per annum.  In addition you will also provide business support and financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide detailed analysis of leasing business flow.
• Responsible for placing and measuring business across the panel of funders.
• To undertake business reporting functions.
• To interacting with leasing companies to coordinate consolidated leasing information.
• To manage trading terms with third party funders and maximise profitability from lease income.
• To work closely with the leasing companies and sales teams to maximise approval and conversion rates.
• To provide data analysis of the leasing revenue and income as well as performance and analysis of the sales teams.
• To provide general financial planning and analysis as and when required.
• To identify and report on Key Indicators as and when required.

Key Skills:

• You will have a minimum of 3 years experience within the Asset Finance industry, preferably with a background in office equipment finance and knowledge of the reprographic marketplace.
• Ideally you will have a working knowledge of contract negotiation and lease pricing.
• Experience of business planning and financial analysis is desirable along with exposure to risk functions within a lease brokerage or financial services business.
• You should be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office packages and HP Financial Calculators and possess the capability to calculate complex financial structures including deposits, deferrals, residual values and yields using an in house pricing tool.
• Some awareness of at least coaching and or mentoring colleagues would be useful as this position includes indirect management of two sales administrators.

You will be located within one hour of our clients offices close on the North side of the M25.
