Our client seeks an additional junior IT account manager to join its Benelux sales team. The role involves working closely with, SME & SMB level customers acquiring a wide range of IT assets & services. Transaction sizes will be varied but for certain products individual transactions can be in excess of €1m & credit lines larger still.

Your target will reflect the more junior level of the position but you must have the skills to be able to articulate to customers working across finance, purchasing & IT the value of finance & be able to understand & present issues like total cost of ownership.

You should have a broad understanding of a range of finance products but knowledge of selling or at least awareness of operating leasing that you can build upon in the role is important.

Key Skills:

  • Our client, unusually, is willing to consider candidates who are currently fulfilling an internal sales position possibly with a leading bank and who desire to move up to an external sale role but are not being provided with that opportunity currently.
  • Experience of financing IT or other high technology assets would be ideal but this is not required.
  • You will need excellent communication & presentation skills & strong IT skills & the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast moving & complex environment that is both focused & achievement orientated.
  • The ability to work under pressure at times & to tight deadlines to provide a quality service particularly at quarter ends is important.
  • You must be a fluent French & also English speaker.

You will be Belgium based, location is flexible but being commutable to Brussels would be ideal.

Package

Base salary range will be to c€50,000 (maximum) & this will provide on target earnings of c€80,000. Commission is uncapped & with excellent accelerators for over achievement. All usual large company benefits including a company car are also provided.
