Key Responsibilities:
- Produce, a brand development strategy, including PR and media relations and marketing plans to support business objectives, increases awareness and generates positive press coverage.
- Design and implement a lead generation campaign.
- Manage the briefing and creative development for a range of income generating direct marketing campaigns.
- Work with Sales on the development of new products.
- Work with the e-business team on the web-portal.
- Manage the marketing budget ensuring all costs and income are allocated to the correct activity.
- Benchmark, collate, interpret and report on industry statistics.
- Produce a range of regular management information reports.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key media streams.
- Design, manage and implement all hospitality, exhibitions, conferences and corporate events.
- Develop and manage brand guidelines.
Key Skills:
- Ideally educated to degree level and preferably (or studying for) a professional marketing qualification, CIM or IDM.
- Commercially aware with strong self-motivation and capable of working on multi campaigns at the same time.
- Dynamic approach to business with excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Evidence of working as part of a team and making a contribution towards the objectives of the team.
- Must demonstrate ability to work independently and be proactive in managing their objectives.
- Experience of working with others and independently.
- Appreciation of the principals of marketing.
- Good understanding and use of Microsoft Word and Excel & Powerpoint.
- Good analytical skills and can demonstrate their use within a business environment.
- Direct marketing and online marketing experience is desirable but not essential.
