Job Description : Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager, UK and Nordics to create, develop and manage and assume responsibility for the execution of marketing strategies that drive and support with achievement of sales objectives and the overall business strategy to its targeted channels

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the identification of new markets and assets classes to deliver on growth and profitability objectives
Ensure the delivery of robust analysis for inclusion into detailed business plans created to argue entry into new markets and/or asset classes
Ensure the delivery of robust analysis to support current channels and market activities to add value to sales
Co-ordinate and deliver effective annual marketing plans, underpinned by relevant marketing research, knowledge and analysis
Implement competitive operational marketing and communication plans/campaigns
Managing the ongoing implementation of integrated channel marketing and communications plans
Managing and reporting delivery against plan, budget and objectives for all marketing and communications activities
Drive appropriate proposition development to ensure that ‘products/propositions’ are delivered to fit current initiatives which include all necessary collateral for internal and external use
Build and maintain company brand within target channels
Ensure ‘on brand’ positioning through all communications messages managed through the range of selected marketing communications and channel media
Understand and interpret strategic direction/initiatives ambitions such that these can be developed into compelling messages for the target marketplaces

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Educated to degree level and preferably with marketing qualification (CIM, IDM)
The candidate must be extremely delivery focused and have gravitas at all levels
Established track record of performance in the marketing or sales arena, preferably within asset finance/finance or related business
Established track record of managing a marketing department
Experience of creating, developing and managing marketing plans and their effective execution and measurement
