Our client is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to grow and support both sales and vendor/introducer contacts. Maintain and develop relationships in order to maximise financing opportunities in line with business targets and goals and to consistently deliver a superior level of customer service in order to meet and exceed customer needs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To develop effective relationships with the relevant customer account base in order to grow the existing volume of leasing business. To ensure a fast, efficient, high quality, error free processing of proposals/applications in line with customer needs and agreed service levels. To liaise with sales/vendors/introducers in order to gain information required to establish credit approval and supplier approval. To consider and add value to more information requests and declined proposals where appropriate To ensure effective communication of decisions back to the customer. To progress chase and follow-up all accepted proposals in order to win business, thereby meeting conversion rate targets. To regularly review progress with the external sales team concerning customer service levels, new business opportunities, call cycles and any account problems. To agree and implement actions as necessary and ensure the provision of the highest levels of customer service. To ensure new policies are communicated to Brokers in a timely and appropriate manner. To visit customers/vendors/introducers where appropriate. Preparing and communicating monthly performance review information including new business, proposal quality, bad debt and arrears. To obtain competitor information and be proactive about improving industry knowledge. Preparing appropriate monthly account feedback reports and forecasts to management. To attend and be appropriately prepared for monthly reviews with Management and Internal Sales Meetings.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
A background within an Asset Finance organisation/team is essential - preferably within a hard asset environment. Sales background is required (preferably telephone based). Strong communication skills with excellent telephone manner. Motivated to work in a Sales Environment, driven. Must be able to work to Targets and tight deadlines Excellent PC knowledge and understanding GCSE or equivalent minimum preferable. We are keen to receive applications from candidates with proven relevant experience from the Leasing and Asset Finance industry only. |
