Colin Tourick
Carbon Heroes, one of the UK’s leading journey-matching companies, has appointed Professor Colin Tourick to its board as a non-executive director.
Carbon Heroes helps companies to reduce the environmental impact of their employees’ commuting and business travel – and aims to deliver cost savings in the process.
Tourick has 30 years in the UK asset finance and vehicle leasing industries, working as chief accountant of LeasePlan UK, general manager of Commercial Union Vehicle Finance and managing director of CitiCapital Fleet. For seven years he has worked as a management consultant in the automotive fleet market in the UK and overseas. He is the author of several books including ‘Managing Your Company Cars’, the vehicle management industry textbook.
He is also the visiting Professor of Centre for Automotive Management, University of Buckingham Business School.
Craig Barrack Carbon Heroes’ managing director explained: “Colin has a wealth of experience, and has been an invaluable asset to this company for more than two years.
“I’m delighted that he is taking up a non-exec role on the board where his vision will help to form our ongoing strategy.”
Colin Tourick added: “Carbon Heroes is at the leading edge when it comes to delivering much-needed solutions that cut organisations’ costs and CO2 emissions. I’m delighted to be joining this young progressive company’s board.”
