KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for payouts and authorisation of all new business agreements.
Help in mentoring and training of the division to enhance understanding and help build skills related to payouts.
Assume the remit of a subject matter expert and key point of contact across the business.
Responsibility for maintaining accurate and complete payout due diligence records for customers and agreements and ensuring that relevant databases are updated correctly throughout the payouts process.
Provide cover for responsibilities of both the Operations Manager and other Operations Team Leaders during periods of absence.
Responsibility for the general administration in the new business area.
Above the day to day activities, this role will require key strategic input to drive the customer value proposition and enable the business to enter new products, markets and channels as required.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will take operational ownership for key financial, legal, operational risk and regulatory responsibilities related to Payouts.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Strong asset finance experience in a payout supporting role.
Experience managing a customer or sales support team.
Strong AML / KYC financial services experience, gained in a 1st line of defence role within the Asset Finance business.
A thorough understanding of the relevant regulations (eg FCA) and specific experience covering on-boarding of sole traders, partnerships & limited companies.
An understanding of corporate structures and the ability to provide guidance on KYC requirements.
A good understanding of operational processes and the mechanisms to change and improve these.
A team player, able to interact at both a management and team level with the ability to demonstrate a positive and engaged approach to change.
Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
