J2707 - Our client is seeking a Credit Team Leader, responsible for the flow / small ticket team. You will ensure expert evaluation and underwriting of all business channels and for maintaining and promoting good governance, credit processes and agreed service levels for all business origination, approvals, collateral, and restructuring. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Maintain and promote excellent governance and credit processes predominantly Flow & Small Ticket transactions, as well as supporting mid-ticket business where and when required.
Day to day supervision of the team.
Ensure the credit risk proposals are split fairly between each one.
Training and development of the team including one-to-one meetings.
Underwrite the deals by analyzing the credit data and financials as well as calculating ratios flow business channel transactions.
Manage the credit reference agency/brokers/market reports.
Prepare credit risk reports.
Authorise the deals that are outside the underwriters mandates.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Minimum 3-5 years of Credit experience.
Good knowledge of Asset Finance and Leasing and the various product offerings and types of funding facilities available.
Experience of analysing and interpreting financial statements/data from a variety of industries and commercial backgrounds.
Good experience in credit, credit analysis and underwriting of small and mid-ticket essential with some consumer experience being of benefit.
Strong desire and confidence to manage and develop direct reports.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Self-disciplined, motivated and time efficient.
