Our client for whom we have successfully sourced staff over a number of years are seeking to hire an additional mid ticket focussed broker manager.
You will take over responsibility for the development of existing mid ticket brokers and the winning of new ones across North West of England.
Typically the expectation is that the position will be 60% broker management and 40% development of new brokers plus of course securing a greater share of wallet from your inherited brokers.
You will focus on both hard and soft assets for deals between £500,000 and £5m and be tasked to achieve very realistic volume and margin targets.
We will be happy to disclose these targets to suitably qualified applicants that we wish to put to our clients.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking applications from experienced middle ticket brokers managers with a record of success as broker managers and who live on the North West sales area and no further north than Leeds.
The position will be contractually home based but with occasional visits to our clients head office.
You must have the ability to work with brokers on larger and more complex deals possessing the ability to assist on documentation, structure, security, pricing and credit.
You also need to be able to sell on value not price as our client price out at tier 2 levels
Whilst the role is a not a credit manager to apply you must have well developed credit awareness, ability to know what is a viable deal and what is not and to work with your colleagues in the credit team to successfully conclude business.
Excellent career and earnings prospect exist for high achievers – the bonus plan offers line of sight to earnings of 75% of base salary.
