Roland Meyer has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of LeasePlan Germany.

He takes over from Patrick Vierveijzer, who is leaving the company after 18 years.

Meyer joined LeasePlan Germany in January as commercial director.

He has more than 25 years’ experience in the leasing sector, having held various executive positions at Athlon and DLL Group.

He said: “I look forward to this role after such a short time in the company.

“We want to give our customers a glimpse of future mobility scenarios and offer appropriate, innovative services in a low-cost, simple, and sustainable manner.

“Our ambitious goal is any car, anytime and anywhere, which is the future of mobility.”

LeasePlan Germany has a fleet of more than 100,000 vehicles and is part of LeasePlan Corporation, which has a worldwide customer fleet of 1.7 million vehicles in more than 30 countries.
