Hampshire Trust Bank, the UK specialist bank, has appointed Kevin Tonge as operations and strategy director for its asset finance business.
He joins the bank from Aldermore, where he has undertaken a number of key roles across commercial, operations and compliance functions. Prior to Aldermore, he spent 15 years with ING.
Jon Maycock, managing director of asset finance at Hampshire Trust Bank, said: “This is a significant hire for the Bank.
“Kevin is one of the most talented and experienced professionals in the market and will play a crucial role in delivering growth in the bank’s asset finance division.
“He will be tasked with positioning us to deliver on our ambitions in key specialist sectors. I look forward to welcoming Kevin in September.”

Tonge will provide direct support to Maycock and will start his role in September 2018.
