The Leasing Foundation today announced that it is once more on the hunt for the best of the asset finance industry’s thriving young talent. Now in its second year, nominations are open for the Leasing Foundation’s 30 under 30 – the boldest and most inspirational young leaders in the sector.
Supported by Asset Finance Connect and this year sponsored by Acquis Data Services, the Leasing Foundation “30 Under 30” is an annual list of remarkable individuals who are driving forward the asset finance world today.
Criteria and dates
Entry is open to any UK-based asset finance or leasing professional, aged 29 or younger on 30 September 2022, working for either a lender or a service provider. Candidates can either nominate themselves, or be nominated
Entrants or their nominators should write a one/two page submission demonstrating at least two of the following points:
- Overall performance within their role.
- Tangible examples of coaching or inspiring other young people within the business.
- Driver of change or transformation within their business.
- Champions of D&I within their business.
- Involvement in promotion of the industry outside of their day job.
- Charitable activity.
A judging panel of independent industry experts will decide who makes the cut. The list will be released and showcased at an industry event during Q4 2022.
Nathan Mollett, chair of the Leasing Foundation and head of asset finance at United Trust Bank, commented: “It's that time of year again. We're now accepting nominations for the Leasing Foundation 30 under 30 index! If you are or know an exceptional person under 30 with big ambition and demonstrated impact, submit a nomination.
“It’s incredibly important to spotlight our dynamic community of young professionals as these are the individuals that are building the future and creating change in the industry. The younger generations are the real change-makers who have the ability to evolve the way we approach and think about finance. The 30 under 30 is about honouring that and supporting, elevating and recognising them publicly. It shows them that their hard work is valued and seen.”
The Leasing Foundation 30 under 30 will be published annually.
