Laura Hinton of Mobilize Financial Services was the outstanding recipient of the Rising Star Award at the Asset Finance Connect Summer Awards 2022, with one of the judges describing Laura as “a truly inspirational young person taking a passionate standpoint and achieving results in a global organisation.”

Laura was nominated for the Alfa-sponsored award for her work leading the voluntary Green Team at RCI Bank UK. Laura demonstrated passion for both the automotive and sustainability industry, working alongside all departments to form the Green Team.
Demonstrating great commitment, drive and enthusiasm to push forward with the voluntary team and nominating department Climate Champions to help progress with critical sustainability initiatives for the company, Laura’s efforts have helped to deliver strategy documents as well as products such as E-Volve that have helped to steer the industry and RCI to a greener future.
Laura continues to work closely with suppliers to ensure that RCI can continue to embed and develop their Climate Change strategy, building it internally into the corporate culture but also communicating externally within the market helping RCI cultivate a strong reputation in the industry.
“Laura is a great example of where passion and drive come together, and her list of achievements is very impressive,” commented one judge after reading Laura’s outstanding nomination.
The popular well-supported Rising Star Award also included three ‘highly commended’ recipients in 2022: David Reynell, Aldermore; Amar Rana, Credicar; and Daniel Idowu, United Trust Bank.
