Entering two teams in the AFPA Trust Big Quiz on May 18th, Haydock Finance will be quizzing for two local charities and hoping to win them £10,000: The Wish Centre and Blackburn Youth Zone.

The Wish Centre, who are local to Haydock’s head office in Blackburn, are a specialist domestic abuse organisation, supporting victims and their families by offering advice, support & accommodation.

“We will be quizzing for our local charity partner, The Wish Centre. We have been fundraising for them for over 5 years. The aim of the organisation is to support people who have suffered or who are at risk of suffering domestic abuse, through the provision of support, advice and accommodation,” noted Lea Lawrence, Marketing Manager at Haydock Finance.

The charity chosen by Haydock’s second quizzing team is the Blackburn Youth Zone, who provide a 21st century youth hub, located at the heart of Blackburn, which is open to young people aged 5 to 19 years old and aims to change the prospects offered to young people in the area, according to Haydock’s Lea Lawrence.

Taking place on May 18th at the prestigious Royal Overseas League Club in Mayfair, London, the AFPA Trust Big Quiz will generate a huge buzz and competitive spirit within the asset finance industry.

With the Big Quiz, Taylor hopes that a new group of asset finance professionals will join an AFPA Trust event and will want to become more involved, eventually running their own regional or national AFPA events in the future.
