AFPA Trust

Three more quizzing teams have entered the AFPA Trust Big Quiz from Conister Bank, Propel Finance and VitrX hoping to win the Rivermore Trophy and £10,000 for their chosen charity. The AFPA Big Quiz will be held on May 18th at the Royal Overseas League Club in Mayfair, London.

Conister Bank will be supporting BDDF - Basingstoke & District Disability Forum - which offers support for adults affected by disability, including disabled people and their carers, fellow disability charities and local businesses looking to be accessible and inclusive. For a small charity, BDDF make a big impact for the disabled people they support and for the community they live in.

Propel’s quizzing team will be hoping to win £10,000 for their chosen charity – Bookmark - a tech-led literacy charity supporting disadvantaged primary school children to give them a fairer chance in life. Currently one in four children leave primary school unable to read well. These children are more likely to experience poverty, face unemployment and have a lower life expectancy. Bookmark want every child to read, making this happen through their flexible, volunteer-led programme and making sure children have access to high quality reading materials as well as dedicated spaces to read in their schools.

VitrX will be quizzing for Cancer Ninjas, whose fundraising helps their supported charity, Cancer Research UK, fund vital research into cures and treatments for all types of cancer. Cancer Ninjas hope to play a part in finding a cure for this awful disease and make the dreadful cancer statistics just a distant memory of the past.

The AFPA Trust Big Quiz is kindly sponsored by  LTi Technology Solutions, Paragon Bank, Close Brothers, VitrX, Rivermore Asset Finance, Acquis Data Services, Cordoba Rewards and Asset Finance Connect.
