Asset Finance brokers and lenders who have not yet reserved their place at one of the three digital sessions for asset finance lenders and brokers we will be running next Friday 19th May at noon to 1.40pm on zoom should book their place now by emailing louiseclavey@assetfinanceconnect.com. These sessions are specifically for lenders and brokers but corporate members are also warmly invited. Please also tell us which stream you would like to attend, and a second option should we be unable to place you in your chosen slot.

Places are limited – as for every participative event we run – but the topics are important for all brokers and lenders who depend on the effective functioning of the broker-lender channel. This event is free to join but all participants will be asked to leave their cameras on and be ready to participate in the conversations.

The top 3 issues, identified by UK lenders and brokers, following a poll of participants in Asset Finance Connect’s unconferences are as follows:

  • Will lenders agree to a common review process for all brokers?
  • Do brokers doing unregulated work need to regulated by the FCA post implementation of Consumer Duty? There is a lot of information out there at present – and not all of it is consistent.
  • What is the likely impact of the review of the Appointed Representatives Regime?
