He graduated from the Eindhoven University of Technology and is certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Leaseurope’s chair Enrico Duranti said: “It is an honour to welcome Jean-Pierre Vissers on the board and we all look forward to working together to promote our industry on all fronts.”

He added: “Beyond our advocacy and research work, we will continue to act as the leading platform for the European leasing industry, while highlighting its contribution to sustainable economic growth in Europe. This is only possible thanks to a strong Board as well as active member associations.”

Vissers stressed: “I am really looking forward to supporting the European leasing framework in Leaseurope and representing our industries’ companies, branches and associations. I am excited to join in our efforts to further enhance Europe’s leasing strategic directions and to help drive the translation of increasingly important regulatory demands in pragmatic business propositions.

“I am keen to learn more from this leasing platform and its associated members.”
